Welcome to Alma. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Alma mobile application and related services (the "App") provided by Tei Software Studios ("Tei Software Studios," "we," "our," or "us").
By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
By using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained the consent of a parent or legal guardian. If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Alma is a free mobile application that allows users to read and explore the Bible. The App may include features such as:
The App displays Bible translations and other religious texts that may be owned by third-party publishers and rights holders. All such content is used under license or falls within the public domain. We respect the intellectual property of all content owners and comply with applicable licensing terms.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Bible translation or other third-party content displayed in the App beyond what is permitted by the applicable license or by law.
The App includes an AI-powered chat feature that allows users to ask questions related to the Bible and spiritual topics. By using this feature, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
The App is intended for personal spiritual reading and reflection. Nothing in the App constitutes professional theological, legal, medical, or psychological advice. If you need guidance on matters of faith, mental health, or personal well-being, please consult a qualified professional.
Alma is free to download and use. We do not charge any fees, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future, in which case these Terms will be updated accordingly.

The App, including its design, features, original content, and code, is owned by Tei Software Studios and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may not:
The App, including all AI-generated content and responses, is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tei Software Studios and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, including any reliance on AI-generated content or responses.
Without limiting the foregoing, Tei Software Studios expressly disclaims all liability for any decisions, actions, or consequences resulting from your use of or reliance on AI-generated content within the App. You acknowledge that you use such content entirely at your own risk.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tei Software Studios and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.
Upon termination, the provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to intellectual property provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms in the App or on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the competent courts of Romania.
Before filing a claim against us, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at [email protected]. We will attempt to resolve the dispute informally within 30 days.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Tei Software Studios regarding the App and supersede any prior agreements.
